It had some great stories and advice, but at times he would ramble on and on about stuff and then the point would be in one sentence. I guess if he didn't ramble it wouldn't be a long book. The chapters were short so it's an easy read, and if you want to know what the business is like then it's a good read. I will recommend for people who want to get into the business, I don't recommend this book for those who are just movie buffs. Rating: 3 / 5 Overall I liked the book. While Mamet undeniably has talent as a writer and director, I don't to spend time reading his cynical social commentaries or his bitter diatribes against an industry that has treated him pretty well. Worth the price of admission. I promise you. Mr. Mamet hates "Titanic. " Me too. Sequels, religious movies, many, we both agree, are bad.
