THIS IS THE WORST OF THE WORST. THAT TITLE BELONGED TO KING KONG VS GODZILLA FOR ALL OF THE 20TH CENTURY. BUT TO KICK OFF THE 21ST CENTURY OF GODZILLA WITH THIS TRAVESTY IS ALMOST MORE THEN I CAN BARE. THE LEAD FEMAIL CHARACTER IS THE PITTS AND SO UNSYMPATHETIC I WANTED GODZILLA TO CRUSH HER SO BADLY I COULD TASTE IT. WHY AFTER THE MAGNICANT GODZILLA 2000 WOULD THEY JUST IGNORE THE CONTINUITY OF THE NEW GENERATION GODZILLA. HES NOT THE SAME GODZILLA ANYMORE HES AN OFFSPRING. THE FILM MAKES NO SENCE WHATSOEVER AND THE BAD GUY MONSTER WAS HORRIBLE. IT WAS LIKE YET AGAIN MANKIND CREATED SOMETHING THEY COULD NOT DESTROY TO RID THE WORLD OF GODZILLA AND GODZILLA HAD TO DEAL WITH IT AGAIN. NO WONDER HES ALWAYS PIEED OFF AT HUMAN BEINGS. THE MOVIE DOESNT EVEN DISSERVE ONE STAR BUT I COULD NOT GIVE IT LOWER THEN THAT. GODZILLA FANS BEWARE OF THIS STINKER, IF YOU ARE A COMPLETIONIST I UNDERSTAND FOR I AM TOO BUT MAN. WHAT HAPPENED WITH THIS ONE?

Godzilla is back again to terrorize tokyo of course but it seems like the G FORCE has a special weapon that would send godzilla in to another deminsion you can say. What goes wrong is that when there testing something came out of the black whole which is Megaguirus. All these creature begin breeding and feeding the mother but little they threaten by godzilla but most of them get destroyed that when the KING DADDY !!! of all of them comes out to destroy there victim. This godzilla flick is indeed good they use the same suit as in G2k and the monster action was good and so was the spx but they could did a little bit better on the plot and not leave so many dead scenes. But i recommend you get it because its indeed good

This is probably one of the weakest of the new films. . . Godzilla’s nemesis is a dragonfly from Hell but the effects for the creature will underwhelm you with cliched efficiency; The suit-mation for Megaguirus is wooden (think Mothra from the 60s) and both monsters are over-lit and shot from poor angle choices, further ruining the illusion. . . the cast is irritating at best, with the lead actress doing a fine impression of sand in your swimsuit and her co-star is the Japanese Keeanu Reeves circa “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure”. Everyone in the main cast has seemingly got a personal axe to grind with ol’ G, and after the fourth flashback to someone’s loved one/commrade getting killed by G’s attacks you’ll see what I mean. . . it’s just over-used as a plot device in general, but to have it SO MANY times in one film is rediculous. This is also one of the darkest G films in a long time, with deceptive business moguls lying & cheating, unwittingly causing G to attack. . . and this is some of the most violent screen time seen since the 70s (there is one fairly graphic beheading of a man and the death of his date by a Meganula which is NOT suitable for children). The ‘companion’ release “GMK: Giant Monster All-Out Attack” also available Jan. 6th is a much, much better film in every way. The only reason I gave GxM here two stars is the widescreen and subtitle options. It’s a nice step towards this series getting the respect it deserves when it comes to home video here in Region-1 Land.

this new change of godzilla is depressing i have been a fan of him ever scince i was 3 and i loved him when he is a good guy. he is the protector of japan he shouldn’t destroy it. stop changing godzilla make him like the origonal A GOOD GUY not a villan.
